"The Selby Folk Club, THE best kept secret of the Dandenongs"
.........Washington Irving.
(Very Important!!! New fire regulations......please see below)
For the past 34 years the Selby Folk Club has been meeting on the first Friday of the month. The aim of the club has always been the same - encourage local performers by giving them a supportive atmosphere in which to perform, and encourage local residents to come and hear live local music.
Each months entertainment revolves around an invited feature artist. Time is made at the beginning of the night for floor spot acts.
The Selby Folk Club is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

Following the black saturday bushfires, new regulations concerning community houses have been put into place. The Selby Community House is not able to open on any day declared a "Total Fire Ban". The Selby Folk Club will attempt to relocate for the evening's concert if this is the case. This website will have details on the day. If a Catastrophic (Code Red) alert is in place, the Selby Folk Club will not be able to run the scheduled concert!
