PHASE 4 DEVELOPMENT
Incorporating Four CircPH3low
Fumigation Recirculation Systems
The fourth phase of Beiliang's development gave a relatively small increase in the terminal's storage capacity, being only 18 interconnected silos 15.25 metres diameter and 45 metres high. GTS installed four CircPH3low systems connected to all 18 of these silos plus the eight "star bins" at the interstices between the main bins. Construction of the Phase 4 silos began in 2002 and was completed in 2005.
GTS's CircPH3low and gas mixing systems incorporated all the Phase 3 refinements plus some additional ones including a heated PH3 regulator for prevention of polymer formation and an integrated two-sided wall-mounted panel with the CO2 vaporizer on one side and the PH3 mixing system on the other.
