DALIAN BEILIANG GRAIN TERMINAL

PHASE 3 DEVELOPMENT

Incorporating Two CircPH3low Fumigation Recirculation Systems

The third phase of Beiliang's development increased the terminal's storage capacity by 300,000 tonnes with 48 interconnected silos 15 metres diameter and 45 metres high.

GTS installed two CircPH3low systems connected to eight of these silos, together with a central gas storage and mixing plant. Construction of the Phase 3 silos began in 2001 and was completed in 2004.

GTS's CircPH3lowand gas mixing systems incorporated several refinements over its Phase 1 and 2 installations. These included redesigned controllers for the dispensing of gas to the silos; improved CO2 vaporizers for the gas mixing system; and the use of stainless steel tubing for the delivery of the mixed gas to the dispensers.
