Places you on vacation status so that you are not removed from a game due to inactivity.
Procedure:
- Create an E-Mail message and address it to navgap@navgap.com.
- Enter NAVGAP vacation [acct#] [pass] [game#] [race#] [replacement] as the subject line.
- Replace [acct#] with your NAVGAP Account Number.
- Replace [pass] with your NAVGAP Password.
- Replace [game#] with the NAVGAP Game Number.
- Replace [race#] with your Race Number (1-11).
- Replace [replacement] with your replacement in the game (see below).
- Send the message.
Notes:
- Replace [replacement] with one of the following:
- 0
- CPlayer will play your turn.- Your account number
- NAVGAP will take no action with your race.- Another player's NAVGAP account number
- If that person is an ally in that game, (already getting your RST file sent to them by NAVGAP) they may play and submit a TRN file for you. (They will not get your RST 'zip' file sent to them)
- If that person is NOT an ally in that game, or is NOT in that game, your RST 'Zip' files will be sent to that person, and they will be able to submit TRN files for you.
- Being on vacation and nominating another player to play your turns, does NOT reset your "missed turns" counter.- cancel
- NAVGAP will clear/cancel your vacation.- Vacation limits are as follows:
You are allowed to have one two-week vacation per game.
- Daily Game: 14 turns
- 3 turns a week Game: 6 turns
- 2 turns a week Game: 4 turns
- 1 turn a week Game: 2 turns
Appeals for a second or extended vacation can be sent to the NAVGAP Help Desk.- To alter a vacation setting, once you have a vacation set, send this command again with the new information in the[replacement] part of the command.
