Instructs a game to delay hosting (if allowed by that game).
Procedure:
- Create an E-Mail message and address it to navgap@navgap.com.
- Enter NAVGAP delay [acct#] [pass] [game#] [hours] as the subject line.
- Replace [acct#] with your NAVGAP Account Number.
- Replace [pass] with your NAVGAP Password.
- Replace [game#] with the NAVGAP Game Number.
- Replace [hours] with the Number of hours (6 to 36) you want the game delayed.
- On the first line of the message, type {Begin}.
(there must not be any other words on this line of your email).- Type your 'reason for delay' on the following lines. You may use as many or as few paragraphs as you wish (proper grammar always makes the message easier to read, however!).
- On the final line of the message, type {End}.
(there must not be any other words on this line of your email).EXAMPLE:
{Begin}
I thought the World was going to end, but it did not.
{End}
- Send the message.
Notes:
- This command is useful, as it allows you to put a delay on the next host of your game, but only if the game has been enabled to allow player initaied delays, and the game has not already been delayed for that turn (only on delay per turn).
- Your 'reason' will appear to be sent from NAVGAP to all players in the game, (it will not contain your real name or E-Mail address, thus guaranteeing privacy.
- Repeated use of this command will result in the human host asking you why you are not able to play the game within the time frames given when you agreed to play this game. (failure to give a reason, to the host, will result in you being removed from the game)
